Sika Streamlines Operations, Shuffles Regional Focus

Sika (Baar, Switzerland), a producer of construction chemicals, says it will introduce a new management structure as of January 1, 2013, to make the group leaner and more efficient. Management will be streamlined from 14 to 9 members, with geographical concentration focused on four regions instead of the current six. The newly formed regions will manage linked economic areas and supply-chain structures from a single source. The company is creating an EMEA region, the coverage of India will be moved to Asia/Pacific, and North and Latin Americas...
