People & Business :: Companies Siegfried more than doubles its 2012 net profit9:46 AM MST | March 5, 2013 | Francinia Protti-Alvarez Pharmaceutical and pharma ingredient firm Siegfried (Zofingen, Switzerland) realized a net profit of 20.9 million Swiss francs ($22.2 million) during the 2012 financial year, more than doubling the SF9.7 million achieved during 2011, the company announced today. The profit figure includes a positive tax result of SF5.7 million, which is largely the result of partially recognizing tax loss carry forwards, principally in the United States.
