People & Business :: Companies Sibur opens trading offices in Ukraine and Turkey7:00 AM MST | February 18, 2013 | Francinia Protti-Alvarez The Sibur International trading company, a Sibur (Moscow) affiliate, has registered subsidiaries in Istanbul and Kiev, the company announced today. The offices will trade in basic polymers. In Turkey, where polypropylene (PP) consumption is high, Sibur will focus on the sale of PP produced by the company's new Tobolsk, Russia polymer complex when it is commissioned. The focus in Ukraine will be on polyethylene, in addition to PP, supplied from the Tomskneftekhim (Tomsk, Russia) and Tobolsk polymer complexes. The major end-market PP consumers in Turkey and...
