Showa Denko to Establish Functional Polymers Division

Showa Denko says it will establish a functional polymers division within the company's chemicals segment, effective July 1, 2010 following the previously announced merger with the company's Showa Highpolymer (SHP) subsidiary on the same day.   Showa Denko decided last December to merge with SHP, its performance polymers subsidiary, to accelerate the growth of Showa Denko’s functionalized materials/functional monomers operations, and SHP’s functional polymers operations, through integration of relevant managerial resources, technologies...
