Sensient raises earnings guidance, trades barbs with FrontFour over director

Sensient Technologies today said it expects first-quarter earnings to exceed analysts’ consensus of 65 cts/share. The company also said it expects to raise its full-year earnings guidance from the current $2.86-$2.94/share, though it will not specify new guidance until its first-quarter earnings call on 15 April. "Both the Flavor and the Color Groups will show operating income growth and significantly improved margins in the first quarter," Sensient says.
