SK Capital to acquire Chemtura's antioxidants business for $200 million

Private equity firm SK Capital Partners (New York) has reached agreement to acquire Chemtura's antioxidant and Ultraviolet (UV) stabilizer solutions business—including manufacturing plants in the United States, France, and Germany—for $200 million. The business includes a product portfolio of additives including antioxidants, antiozonants, intermediates and inhibitors, polymer modifiers and UV stabilizers that are used to improve performance in polymers, rubbers, and plastics.
