SGL Joint Venture Builds Production Plant in Austria

Benteler-SGL (Paderborn, Germany), a joint venture between Benteler Automobiltechnik (Paderborn) and the SGL Group (Wiesbaden, Germany), says it has started construction of a plant for the manufacture of automotive components made of fiber-reinforced composites, at Ort im Innkreis, Austria. Construction started in April 2012 and the investment amounts to approximately €36 million, the partners say.
