People & Business :: Companies SCG Chemicals Buys Stake in GTC Technology6:12 AM MST | February 11, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh SCG Chemicals, the chemical subsidiary of Siam Cement Group (SCG; Bangkok), says it has completed the acquisition of a 25% stake in technology licensor GTC Technology (Houston) for about $8 million. GTC provides technology licensing and engineering services for petrochemical plants and refineries. Süd-Chemie announced last December that it acquired a 25% stake in GTC. SCG Chemicals says the acquisition of the stake will help improve SCG Chemicals’ technological capability and product development capability, and the cooperation between the R&D...
