SCG Chemicals Buys Stake in GTC Technology

SCG Chemicals, the chemical subsidiary of Siam Cement Group (SCG; Bangkok), says it has completed the acquisition of a 25% stake in technology licensor GTC Technology (Houston) for about $8 million. GTC provides technology licensing and engineering services for petrochemical plants and refineries. Süd-Chemie announced last December that it acquired a 25% stake in GTC.
