People & Business :: Companies SAFC Targets Low Single Digit Growth12:54 PM MDT | June 2, 2009 | Vincent Valk Sigma-Aldrich Fine Chemicals (SAFC) is targeting low single-digit growth for 2009, president Gilles Cottier says. While the company, the fine chemicals unit of research outfit Sigma-Aldrich, saw a 5% sales decline in the first quarter, booked orders began to rise in February, and are now at pre-recession levels. This is a leading indicator that business is starting to pick up, Cottier says.
