S&P: Chemicals Sector Ratings Actions to Remain Favorable

Chemicals sector credit rating upgrades have outpaced downgrades so far in 2010, a trend that is very likely to continue, according to Standard & Poor's (S&P; New York) third-quarter report on credit quality in the sector. S&P raised ratings on eight chemical companies during the third-quarter and lowered ratings on none.
