Repsol refinery-petchem complex restarts after planned maintenance

Repsol's A Coruña, Spain refinery-petrochemical complex has restarted after a 50-day general stoppage, the longest in the 50-year history of the site, according to a report from a local newspaper. The planned outage affected 13 conversion units and auxiliary equipment in the Nostián area of the complex, a separate report adds. The works required an investment of €38 million ($51.7 million). The petrochemical part of the site has capacity for 60,000 m.t./year of propylene and 35,000 m.t./year of ethyl tert-butyl ether, according to IHS Chemical...
