Report: Air Liquide in talks to sell antimicrobial business to Axa Private Equity

Air Liquide is in talks to sell its disinfection products business Anios (Lille-Hellemmes, France) to Axa Private Equity, according to a report from French business newspaper Les Échos. The proposed deal values Anios at about €350 million ($460.9 million), according to the report. Air Liquide declined to comment on the report. Anios has manufacturing, packaging, and administrative facilities at its Lille-Hellemmes site, and R&D and an equipment department at Sainghin-en-Mélantois, France.
