Reichhold Increases Resins Prices

Reichhold (Research Triangle Park, NC) says they are increasing prices on all unsaturated polyester resins, gelcoats, bonding pastes, and vinyl ester resins in Europe, by €100/m.t. The price increases are effective October 1, and the company says they are raising the prices because of volatile raw material costs. “Raw material prices continue to be difficult to predict and their further sharp and sudden increases leave us no choice but to raise our prices immediately,” says Alberto Piccinotti, v.p.
