RPM acquires waterproofing products maker in Brazil

RPM says it has acquired Betumat Quimica (Candeias, Brazil), maker of waterproofing products in Bahia state. Betumat makes asphaltic membrances, cement grouts and modified asphalt products for contractors and builders in northern Brazil. The company has annual sales of about $22 million. Terms of the deal, including financial details, were not disclosed.
