Quaker acquires specialty grease maker

Quaker Chemical announced today that it has acquired specialty grease manufacturer ECLI Products (Aurora, IL) for $52 million. ECLI, with estimated 2014 Ebitda of $7 million, specializes in greases for original equipment manufacturing first-fill customers across several industry sectors, including automotive, industrial, aerospace/military, electronics, office automation, and natural resources.    Quaker says the deal is consistent with its strategy to increase shareholder value through acquisitions and to complement its 2010 entry into the specialty...
