Private Equity Firm Buys BOC Edwards from Linde...

Private equity firm CCMP Capital has agreed to buy BOC Edwards from Linde, for £460 million ($895 million), with an additional £45-million payment if CCMP meets certain profit targets. BOC Edwards supplies equipment and services to the semiconductor, flat panel display, chemical, metallurgical, analytical instrumentation, and R&D industries.
