Praxair to construct nitrogen plant at Minnesota iron nugget facility

Praxair says it has signed a long-term contract with Mesabi Nugget (Hoyt Lakes, MN) to construct and operate a new nitrogen plant at Mesabi’s iron nugget facility at Hoyt Lakes. The plant supply nitrogen to provide an inert atmosphere for various aspects of the nugget production process, which will replace the previous liquid nitrogen supply.
