Praxair to build air separation unit for steel company in Korea

Praxair announced on 23 January that it has signed a long-term contract with Taewoong Steel Co. (Daegu, South Korea) to supply high-purity oxygen to that company’s steel mill facility at Busan, Korea. Praxair will construct a 180-m.t./day air separation plant and pipeline that will serve Taewoong and other new and existing customers.
