People & Business :: Companies Praxair signs gas supply agreement with Oxiranchem Yangzhou12:26 PM MDT | October 22, 2012 | Lindsay Frost Praxair has signed a long-term contract with Oxiranchem Yangzhou—a subsidiary of Liaoning Oxiranchem and a producer of ethylene oxide, fine chemicals, and related derivatives—to supply on-site industrial gases to its Yangzhou Chemical Industry Park at Jiangsu Province, China. Praxair will construct and operate an air separation plant with a capacity of 500 tons/day of oxygen, planned to start up in 2014. The plant will supply oxygen and nitrogen to the park for the production of 200,000 tons/year of ethylene oxide and 300,000 tons/year of derivative...
