Praxair extends oxygen supply agreement with Jinlong Cooper

Praxair has signed an agreement with Jinlong Cooper (Tongling, China)—a cooper smelting joint venture among Sumitomo, Tongling Metals Group, and PingGuo Aluminum—to expand Praxair’s oxygen supply to Jinlong’s air separation unit (ASU) at its Tongling facility. Praxair will double the oxygen production capacity at the ASU to 700 m.t./day. The company will also acquire Jinlong’s existing captive plants and integrate them with its industrial gas plants that are used to supply Jinlong’s flash furnace–smelting process...
