Praxair expands New Mexico nitrogen facility

Praxair has started up a second nitrogen plant at its Kirtland, NM facility—increasing total capacity of liquid nitrogen at the site to 300 m.t./day. The company says the expansion is to support growing nitrogen demand in the San Juan basin—including Colorado and northwestern New Mexico.
