Praxair acquires Houston-based specialty gases firm

Praxair has acquired PortaGas (Houston), a supplier of cylinder specialty gases. The acquisition includes PortaGas’s 40 employees and its new specialty gases facility in the Houston area. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
