PotashCorp to Cut 150 Jobs at Phosphate Facility

PotashCorp says it will cut 150 jobs, about 15% of the current workforce at its phosphate facility at Aurora, NC. These job cuts are necessary to maintain the facility’s long term competitiveness, PotashCorp says. The workforce reduction will take place in two phases. Employees will first be offered a voluntary separation package, and if target reductions are not met, involuntary separations will take place, PotashCorp says.
