PolyOne to Shutter Several Manufacturing Sites

PolyOne says it will close seven North American production facilities and one in the U.K. over the next nine months. PolyOne says it will disclose the locations of those facilities tomorrow. The closures include sites that manufacture engineered compounds, vinyl compounds, color and additives concentrates, vinyl coated fabrics, and vinyls plastisols and organosols, and production will be moved to a number of PolyOne’s 30-plus remaining sites, the company says.
