PolyOne Rebrands Vinyls Business as Geon

PolyOne says it has renamed its vinyls business Geon Performance Polymers. The segment comprises vinyl compounds as well as specialty coatings and resins. The company cites Geon’s “tremendous global brand recognition” and the company’s transformation toward performance and specialty solutions over the past two years. “This name change recognizes our differentiation from the competition, and is another positive example of PolyOne’s evolution,” says Robert M.
