Pfizer and Wyeth to Divest Some Animal Health Assets to Boehringer Ingelheim

Pfizer and Wyeth say they will divest certain animal health assets to Boehringer Ingelheim, in connection with the regulatory approval process associated with Pfizer’s pending acquisition of Wyeth. Boehringer Ingelheim will acquire products, research and manufacturing facilities, located at Fort Dodge, IA, as well as related assets and intellectual property, primarily from Wyeth’s Fort Dodge Animal Health portfolio in Canada and the U.S., under the terms of the deal.
