Pfizer Completes $68-Billion Wyeth Acquisition

Pfizer says it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Wyeth for $68 billion, following the receipt of regulatory approval from all government authorities required by the merger agreement, and approval by Wyeth shareholders. Pfizer agreed to acquire Wyeth in January 2009. Pfizer and Wyeth have begun joint operations from October 16, 2009.
