PPG closes sale of float glass plant

PPG says it has closed the sale of its float glass manufacturing facility at Mt. Zion, IL, to Fuyao Glass America (Fuzhou City, China), for an undisclosed sum. The deal was announced in July. Fuyao intends to convert the Mt. Zion facility, which was built in 1959, to an automotive glass plant. PPG will continue to operate the plant for the next year, producing coated glass and clear glass...
