PKN Orlen Details Major Projects in Five-Year Strategy

PKN Orlen (PÅ‚ock, Poland) has unveiled a five-year growth strategy that includes expanding the company’s petrochemical manufacturing facilities in Poland and the Czech Republic, and constructing a propylene splitter at Orlen’s MaÅ¾eikiÅ³ Nafta (MaÅ¾eikiÅ³, Lithuania) subsidiary. Orlen is also studying a third olefins complex at PÅ‚ock; a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) plant at the WÅ‚ocÅ‚awek, Poland site of its Anwil subsidiary; and a cyclohexanone production unit at the Neratovice, Czech Republic complex of Orlen’s Spolana subsidiary.
