In North America, propanol prices will increase 5 cts, to $1.45/lb. Its propyl acetate prices will increase 5 cts, to $1.43/lb. In South and Central America, its propanol and propyl acetate prices will increase to $110/m.t. The company saw lower sales for the second quarter of 2012, down 3% year-on-year to €380 million due to turnarounds at its Bay City, TX and Oberhausen plants.
