Odebrecht bids for gas pipeline in Peru to supply Pacific coast petchem complex

Odebrecht (Salvador, Brazil) is planning to invest heavily in Latin America across various industries including petrochemicals, according to various media reports. Projects the company plans to bid for include the Peruvian government tender for a $1.8-billion, 620-mile natural gas pipeline running along the south of the country destined to feed a petrochemical complex on the Pacific coast, reports add.
