Nufarm Acquires U.S. Sorghum Seed Companies

Agchem firm Nufarm (Melbourne) says it has completed the acquisition of Richardson Seeds (Vega, TX), a leading producer and marketer of sorghum seed hybrids, and MMR Genetics (Vega), a global leader in the development of elite sorghum germplasm. Nufarm says the acquisitions will considerably strengthen Nufarm’s existing seeds platform. Financial details of the acquisitions were not disclosed.
