Nalco Announces Construction of Dry Polymer Facility

Ecolab subsidiary Nalco will be constructing a dry polymer production facility at its 220-acre complex in Garyville, LA. The 300,000 sq.ft facility will increase size of the complex to one million sq.ft and will produce dry polymer products used in removing contaminants from wastewater. The products created will increase efficiency in the paper industry and recover minerals in the mining industry. The facility, which will employ 22 people, is expected to be completed in December of this year. Some 235 employees are currently working at Nalco's Garyville...
