Mitsui Chemicals says its wholly owned subsidiary Shimonoseki Mitsui Chemicals has suspended production of nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) at its Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan plant following an explosion and a fire on November 4th.
