Mitsui Agriscience Acquires Dublin-based AgriGuard

Mitsui Agriscience International (Masi; Brussels), a subsidiary of Mitsui & Co. (Tokyo), has acquired Dublin-based crop protection chemicals developer, AgriGuard Ltd., for an undisclosed sum. AgriGuard is active in developing and registering a portfolio of post-patent products focused on the arable crop sector, which is targeted as a key growth area in Masi's long-term European expansion strategy.
