Mitsubishi Chemical Revises Earnings and Sales Forecast

Mitsubishi Chemical has revised the consolidated sales and earnings projections for the company’s fiscal first half ended September 30, 2009. Mitsubishi expects to record a net loss of ¥3 billion ($33 million) having previously forecast a net loss of ¥25 billion. And the company expects to post first-half sales of ¥1.15 trillion, having previously forecast sales of ¥1.16 trillion.
