Mexichem-Asahi Glass JV completes R-22 plant in UK

Mexichem Fluor, a Mexichem subsidiary; and AGC Chemicals Europe (Thornton Cleveleys, UK), a wholly owned subsidiary of Asahi Glass (Tokyo) have completed a multimillion-pound investment in a plant to be operated by the companies' recently created Fenix Fluor (Runcorn, UK) joint venture, AGC announced. The investment is aimed at helping secure the supply of raw material required in the production of AGC's fluoropolymer products at the company's site at Thornton Cleveleys.
