Lubrizol to Shutter Avon Lake Plant (Correction)

Lubrizol says it will shutdown its Avon Lake, OH site during the third quarter and transfer production of selected acrylic emulsions to its "most efficient production sites" at Pedricktown, NJ and Gastonia, NC. The company says it will also stop production of styrene butadiene latex at its Gastonia plant. Both actions are part of a restructuring plan announced in April to focus the company's performance coatings business on "fewer market end uses where it believes it can deliver the most value to customers and realize sustainable and profitable...
