Linde Sees Improvement but Unlikely to Match Record 2008 Sales and Earnings

The Linde Group reported third-quarter earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) of €637 million ($947.7 million), including €13 million restructuring charges. This compares with Ebitda of €652 million in the year-ago period. Group sales in the third quarter fell 9.5% to €2.84 billion.
