Lanxess in Deal with Swedish Firm for Oil Products in Synthetic Rubber

Lanxess says its Performance Butadiene Rubbers business unit will enter into a strategic co-operation with oil producer Nynas (Stockholm). Lanxess says it plans to stop the use of DAE oils in the production of synthetic rubbers from December 1, 2009, and the co-operation with Nynas is aimed at safeguarding the supply of alternative products.
