Lanxess Turns a Profit; Eyes Acquisitions´╗┐

Lanxess reported fourth-quarter 2006 net income of €2 million ($2.6 million), compared with a €100-million loss a year earlier, on sales down 7%, to €1.67 billion. Ebitda before special items rose 18%, to €105 million. Lanxess, meanwhile, says it is actively seeking acquisition candidates to increase its market share and growth potential.
