Lanxess Details Restructuring

Lanxess says it will organize its 13 business units into three segments following the divestment of its acrylonitrile butadiene styrene business to Ineos. The company is combining its performance rubber segment with its semi-crystalline products business unit to form a performance polymers segment; giving its chemical intermediates business the new name Advanced Intermediates; and combining the inorganic pigments business with the existing performance chemicals unit.
