Labor dispute threatens operations at Sabic's Geleen site, reports say

Employees at Sabic Europe's Geleen, Netherlands, complex have launched strike actions after talks between management and the FNV trade union on 28 January failed to reach an agreement, local media reports say. Jan van Nies, an employee at the Geleen plant, posted on his Twitter account that he remained at home today as a result of the strike.   The failed talks covered a new social plan as well as the submission of annual leave, reports say.
