La Seda in talks to renegotiate debt

La Seda de Barcelona (El Prat de Llobregat, Spain), one of Europe's largest manufacturers of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), has started a process to renegotiate its syndicated and bilateral debt, according to a statement by the company to the CNMV (Madrid) stock exchange on 8 February. The statement says that  the company is in talks with the coordinating banks on the syndicated loan and with other creditors "to reach a formal and binding agreement" for the restructuring of the company's debt.
