Koppers Buys Crosstie Procurement Assets

Koppers has purchased the assets of a crosstie procurement business from Barnham-Sevier Tie Company, the company says. The assets include land and equipment. The deal is expected to add $8 million to $10 million per year to Koppers' earnings, though the price of the assets was not disclosed.
