People & Business :: Companies Koppers Buys Crosstie Procurement Assets1:51 PM MST | February 17, 2010 | Vincent Valk Koppers has purchased the assets of a crosstie procurement business from Barnham-Sevier Tie Company, the company says. The assets include land and equipment. The deal is expected to add $8 million to $10 million per year to Koppers' earnings, though the price of the assets was not disclosed. "To be able to increase revenues by as much as $10 million for a relatively small investment is very positive for Koppers. We intend to continue pursuing accretive incremental business in this distressed environment to enhance our market position," says Koppers CEO...
