Kemira Sells Last Fertilizer Asset

Arab Potash Co. (APC; Amman) has acquired Kemira’s 50% stake in Kemira Arab Potash Co. (Kemapco; Aqaba, Jordan). Danish Industrialisation Fund for Developing Countries (Copenhagen) holds the other 50%. Kemapco produces potassium nitrate and dicalcium phosphate at Aqaba.
