Kem One launches technology conversion for Lavéra chlor-alkali plant

Kem One (Lyon, France) has launched a project to convert the electrolysis technology at the company's Lavéra, France, chlor-alkali plant from mercury-cell and diaphragm, to bipolar membrane technology, the company announced today. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. Financing of the project is supported by the French government, according to terms presented to the European Commission in a notification file.
