People & Business :: Companies ISP Turns Around Fine Chemicals9:59 AM MDT | July 24, 2007 | Alex Scott in San Francisco Three years ago ISP could not find a buyer for its ailing fine chemicals business, but today the business is thriving with sales and profits growth, says John E. Sim, ISP general manager of fine chemicals. The company does not disclose sales and profit figures by business. However, the fine chemical unit’s sales have increased by 90% and are expected to climb a further 40% this year, Sim says.
