IFC and S&P Launch Carbon Index for Emerging Markets

International Finance Corporation (IFC; Washington), a member of the World Bank group, says IFC and Standard & Poor’s (S&P) are launching the world’s first Carbon Efficient Index for emerging markets that will mobilize more than $1 billion for carbon-efficient companies over the next three years.
