Huntsman to reposition surfactants business in Europe, 250 jobs potentially affected

Huntsman says that is plans to refocus its surfactants business in Europe. The company plans to move away from various surfactants assets that have become commoditized and will focus on developing its differentiated surfactants business in markets that are strategic to Huntsman. About 250 positions in the performance products division could potentially be affected by these changes during the next 18 months, Huntsman says.
